Fair Housing and How we Evaluate Applications
RDI Properties manages properties owned by our two principles. These properties are held under two different legal entities:
- Markstahler Properties
- J2M2, LLC
You will be signing a lease with one of the above two, not RDI.
Please note we ban the use of all kinds of tobacco, smoke or vapor using/creating devices that contain nicotine from our properties. If you are a hardcore smoker or vaper please keep this in mind when considering to apply for a rental.
Pets must be approved prior to signing a lease.
Here at RDI Properties we use the following criteria when evaluating applications:
- We restrict the total number of tenants permitted per unit to (# of bedrooms times 2) for all units that are 1,000 square feet or larger – (# of bedrooms are determined by what we state in the initial advertisement/not by rooms tenants might wish to convert to a bedroom)
- We restrict the total number of tenants permitted per units that are under 1,000 with two or more bedrooms to four individuals.
- We restrict all one bedrooms to two individuals.
- We restrict the total number of tenants permitted for any one-bedroom unit to two individuals.
- We are firm on tenants not spending more than 33% of their confirmable NET monthly income on rent.
- We reserve the right to decline your application based upon previous rent payment history reported to us by your previous landlords or other reputable sources.
- We reserve the right to decline your application based upon previous issues with unit damage or lack of cleaning as reported to us by your previous landlords.
