A Black And Gray Colored Electric Range Top — Champaign, IL — RDI Properties

Cleaning Electric Range Tops

Innovations and technology often progress at a rapid rate. It was not very long ago that glass top kitchen ranges became common. Unless you Googles how to clean them or by slim chance grew up in a home that had one and you were taught by your parents you might not know.
First off they need to be wiped and cleaned every time the range top is used. With the top being a solid surface it is easy to think of it more as a counter top than a cooking surface. Thus you might begin to let slide cleaning after every single use. But this can quickly result in the building up baked on residues to a point that the top cannot be cleaned.
We see this often as landlords during the turning of rental properties. It always results in the outgoing tenant being surprised by an unexpected charge against their security deposit.
A Glass Being Clean With A Wiper Tool — Champaign, IL — RDI Properties

Cleaning Glass Shower Doors

One area that often costs our tenants deductions from their security deposits are showers and ESPECIALLY shower doors. All water has some amount of minerals suspended in it. Left to dry on the glass of the shower door they build up. Over time this can become a real problem and requires a lot of work to get off.
The following Youtube video is a good primary on cleaning these doors. As the video suggests doing it routinely is the best approach. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4V1eejI0gQ
